The Med School Mindset Formula
Hey there.
How’s your study of Anatomy, Biochemistry and Physiology going?
A lot right?
Yeah, I know!
Today, I want to briefly share with you a “formula” that I put together to help you understand the dynamics of medical school as a fresh med school undergrad.
I call it the “Master Formula” for acing medical school.
But just before I share this "Master Formula" with you, I would like to tell you about how I came about this “formula”.
Origin of the “Master Formula”
I had a very turbulent start to medical school.
As a matter of fact, I started out with very low scores below average.
It was a very toxic experience.
However, in my quest to understand what makes the top scorers, top scorers and the low scorers, low scorers... I took a radical step.
I made up my mind to associate myself with these different cadres of students, and studied their —obviously different — approach to studies.
My findings were astounding.
It is on the basis of these experiences that I've drawn my ultimate conclusion on the long hidden secrets to acing medical school!
Why I'm revealing the Master Formula
There's one more thing you should know just before I share this “Master Formula” with you.
Consider the origins of this "formula".
It has come from the perspective of both success and failure.
I'm sure you would agree with me that a one-sided perspective might not be entirely accurate.
If you understand this "formula" and let it shape your mindset in med school, I guarantee you a hundred percent chance of starting on the right note, and finishing strong at the top of your class!
Here you go…
Alright. I've set the stage. Let's get to it.
The Master Formula to acing medical school. Nothing complex, something simple.
Consistent Personal Study (VT) + Occasional Group Study(VT)
Where, VT is a constant which I've termed as “The Medical School Challenge”.
V = Volume and
T = Time
Phew!
That was probably a whole lot for you to take in!
But as you would soon find out, the real challenge of medical school is not any of either Anatomy, Physiology or Biochemistry.
The real challenge of medical school is the large volume of information you have to absorb within so little time.
I'm glad you made it this far.
In my next post, I'll be sharing with you specifically on The Medical School Challenge, and how to brace yourself for success.
